Applatchkids (“we” “our”, or “us”) is a product of a technology company called Applatch with the mission of providing device management of Child’s device by parents(“users”, “your” or “you”) by facilitating on your behalf, content and website filtration, denying application installation and limitation/restriction of your child’s long usage of on other mobile applications. . To achieve this, we provide you with access to a technology that manages the device of the kid, blocks adult content and keyword, alerts parents to sensitive messages, denies application download and allows Children’s access to educational quiz (“Services”). By accessing or using our Services, or otherwise assenting to this Privacy Notice (“Notice”), you signify that you have read, understood and agreed to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Notice and our Terms of Use. We require parental consent to collect and process personal information of children from 12 years and below in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act 1998 (revised 2013).     - Individual Information of the child this includes: first name of the child, name of the device and date of birth. Information of the parent: full name, device name, IP address, gender, images of your face on your identification document,facial identifiers and other additional information you may provide or additional information, we may request you to provide;
    - Device Information: this includes such as information about the hardware model, operating system and version of your device, as well as the unique identifiers, the mobile applications available on the device, the Mobile App store, browser type and version, the presence of any device, browser add-ons, the times you access our Services, the locations from where you access our Services, the page you access before navigating to our Services, and mobile network information of your device, when you use our Services through our mobile application;
    - Location Information: we may receive information from you that helps approximate your location, such as using an IP address received from your browser to determine an approximate location. We may also collect location information from devices in accordance with the consent process provided by your device;
    - Information collected through the use of our Services: we collect information about how you use our Service, your actions on and your communications with us through our website or mobile application.

We automatically collect public and non-public information about you when you use our mobile application, provide permission for us to access your Mobile App Store or communicate with us through our customer support channels or when you apply or sign up to use any of our Services through a third party platform or read our emails, or through third party service providers and other sources, or through online research on social media and websites which may not be publicly available;
  2. We typically collect this information through variety of tracking technologies including cookies, flash objects, web beacons, file information and similar technologies (“tracking technologies”);

Parental Control over information

1. 1. You may update your Child’s profile information,and may change some of you and your child’s data sharing preferences on the settings page;
  2. You can request to access the personal information collected and request to delete or change the personal information of your child.
  3. You may control our mobile application’s access to you and your child’s device information through the settings app on your device. For instance, you can withdraw permission for our mobile application to access some of the applications on your child’s phone.
  4. You can stop receiving promotional email communications from us, by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link provided in such emails. We make every effort to promptly process all unsubscribe requests. You may not opt out of service related communications such as changes to features of our Services, technical and security notices;

Data Retention and Protection

1. 1. Your information collected through our Services may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which we maintain facilities or you utilise our Services;
  2. We retain personal information of the Child only as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was originally collected and delete information to prevent unauthorised access or further use.
  3. In the event we discover we have collected information from a child in a manner inconsistent with the regulatory requirements, we will either delete the information or immediately seek your consent for that collection.
  4. Please note that we may transfer information, including personal information to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction and you acknowledge such transfer or information to the United States or any other country in which Applatchkids or its parents, subsidiaries,affiliates or service providers maintain facilities and the use and disclosure of information about you as described in this Notice;
  5. We retain your information to fulfil our legal or regulatory obligations and for our business purposes. We may retain your information for longer periods than require by law if it is in our legitimate business interests and it is not prohibited by law;
  6. All data or information are stored in encrypted formats in Applatchkid’s database.

This Notice is made pursuant to the Children Online Privacy Protection, Delaware Online Privacy and Protection Act (DOPPA) 2015, Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule, Children Online Privacy Protection Act as well as all other laws, regulations or international conventions which Applatchkids in providing its Services and within the country of its operations is subject to. Where any provision of this Notice is deemed inconsistent with such law, regulation or convention, , such provision shall be subject to the overriding law, regulation or convention.
